TheLawFacts publishes legal cost and timeline information with a single editorial rule: every figure carries its source and its date, or it does not ship. Our build system literally refuses to publish a page that breaks that rule.
We are a small independent publisher. We are not a law firm, we employ no attorneys, and we have no credentials to imply otherwise, so we do not. The site earns money as an advertising and lead-generation service: attorneys pay a flat advertising fee to receive consumer requests. That fee never depends on any case, its value, or its outcome, and paying it does not make anyone "recommended," because we do not make recommendations.
